For starters my day of meditating and trusting in God yesterday was wonderful. All the anxious feelings started to melt away, and with each time I lifted my thoughts to God I felt better. My yoga routine is incorporating a lot more Pilates to tone my abs. The winters off do a number to my bottom and belly. Got to keep those two areas in tip-top shape. Not to mentions my work pants will NOT fit if I gain anymore in my back side. And the last thing I want to do is go out and buy pants because I don’t fit into the ones I have….not gonna happen.
I have to be honest…keeping up the motivation to do my workouts is a little challenging. Especially when I see the things around me I need to get done. I did clean up my desk area and get things organized better. Putting things away that didn’t really need to be out and cleaned up my virtual post it notes, consolidated them into a spread sheet of items. I had about 20 notes on my desktop screen. It is now down to about 6, that I can handle.
After my workouts I do feel better, refreshed and motivated so there is no point in not doing them. If I do then I will feel like I have failed my day and not kept my word to myself. I do need to find some better butt toning exercises. Ones that will kick me into shape. I will make that my homework. But for now…it is time to change into my yoga pants and get moving. The kids are already off to school, the kitchen is clean, and I am going to make Chicken Enchilada Soup for dinner. Which means I better get moving! Lets do this!! 🙂
My Goal: Stay focused on the task at hand and take one thing at a time. All will fall into place.
Positive Phrase: Take joy in what you have accomplished Ellen…you are where you are supposed to be.
~Breakfast: Granola and Toast w/coffee… limiting snacks today. and trying only to eat until I am full and not stuffing myself. Going to stop drinking coffee for the day after my yoga is done, and switching to water.
